    Baby Names

    Hi group,

I am an RN who works in a baby unit and so baby names, is something that I love but something my DH hates!! We have a beautiful baby girl, Brooke Sienna who is 7 months. Even though I am DEFINATELY not pregnant and not going to be for a while yet (want to enjoy my baby, as a baby for a bit longer ) it doesnt make me stop thinking about names for future children!! Especially as my husband never wants to talk about them, even with bub only weeks away!! So, it has me stumped fo the perfect name for our next bundle of joy!

Boy - Cooper Jack/ Jake is a fave and one that I am sold on for a boy, as is DH!

Girl - Ava Grace/Jade, Sophie, Amber, Amelie (but hate Millie as a nickname, DH loves it!).

Would love to know what perfect name would match my princess Brooke's

Thanks for fueling my obsession in finding the perfect name! In case you were wondering, Brooke Sienna was decided on 10 mins before I had my C/S as I put all my energy into the by name, as I was sure she was a boy!! Mum intuition!! Brooke I had heard while getting a manicure/pedicure days before her birth, Sienna - one my DH and I loved on our list.

Oh my Mum almost named me Brooke but it didn't go with my birth surname, ... i would have loved to have been a Brooke (also funny enough I'm on a few months younger than Brooke Shields ... wow, how gorgeous she still is)

Anyway, I love " Amber " in your choice of names ... and i know a really lovely boy named " Jake " !!!

Love Sophie and I love Emily. I do like Amelia too but taught one at school whose mum called her "Meely" and it just irks me and I think of mealy bugs!
Can't work out if you are expecting or not! "Def not preg" then "even with bub only weeks away"??? I am puzzled.
You must come across so many nice/odd baby names in your work!
