    Irish Names

    Hello everyone!

I haven't gotten pregnant yet, but I'm trying to find some names that I can suggest for my husband when the time comes.

I am 50% Irish ( My grandparents were fresh off the boat when my mother was born) and I would love to use Irish names for my children.

I'm looking for a names that are noticeably Irish without being too, hard to pronounce, if you know what I mean.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There was a boy who went to kinder with my daughter last called TADHG - pronounced Tige (like short for tiger). I think that was an irish name.

Cian (pronounced like Ian with a C at the beginning)is also another one

I think Caitlin is Irish, Colleen, Kathleen

For boys Malachy (pronounced Malakee)means my angel or Cairon (pronounced Keeron) means little dark one and for girls Niamh (pronounced Neev) means radiance or Roisin (pronounced Ro-sheen) means little rose.
