    Boys names: please vote!!!

Hi, we are having so much trouble deciding on a boy's name - Hubby hated all my favourites (too weird/interesting) and I hated his (too plain or common). So we finally have a list of names that we think are ok. Would love to know your faves on the list (and your honest opinion if you hate them) to help us narrow the list down. I definately don't want a really common/'overused' name. Surname is Allan. More suggestions and middle name suggestions welcome. Thanks a heap!
    The list:
Toby, Leo, Jake, Harrison, Hunter, Charlie, Henry, Harvey, Makai (he likes Mack-so maybe as a nn?I think Mack Allan sounds awful!)

Although I like Mackai - I hate the nn Mack! So I would be putting a stop to that or choosing another name - second choice for me would be Toby!

    I voted for Hunter

It's such a strong and bold name for a boy without sounding too harsh. Love it!

I have friends that named their son Makyra - and his nick name is makky or mak. That could be another option.

I really like Makai - it is on my boys list, but I also would want avoid the nickname Mak or Makka - it conjures up images of burgers!! Damn McDonalds.....
I have also heard of the boys name Malakai - its a bible name but a tad long for my liking....
    Otherwise i like Toby.

I have never heard of Makai. Is it made up? Is it pronounced the same as the town Mackay? Hmmm not to sure on that one. I love Hunter. Harrison doesn't sound too good with your last name.
