I thought I'd heard some great names being a teacher - but seems I've been sheltered in middle class England all these years! The oddest I've come across is a Reagan which I quite like, but the child was a nightmare!
See it's hard being a teacher you have all these names you can't call a child because it reminds you of a naughty one you once taught!
I personally like
Arabella, Poppy or Niamh.
.....
2 boys names that my 17yr old son came up with (think they are some friends names) are
Haze
Hex
I know a little girl named Priya which I think is gorgeous!
Just to throw a strange name in for good measure.... Bill The Bananaman! I kid you not, this guy legally changed his name and was on the contracts we dealt with (So I knew he wasn't joking!). He had bananas tattooed all over him and a banana earring!
At DS's kindy there are:
-Deizyl

The weirdest name I have come across is a little girl named Ethiopia.
My kids have pretty unique names
They are
DD1-Ruqayah(roo-kay-yah)
DD2- Shayma(shay-ma
DS1-Hamza
They are arabic names but are not even that common in arabic
I heard the name Qaiss mentioned here and its actually arabic for the name romeo, because in arabic romeo and juliet is Qaiss and Layla.
I love unique names it give your child a little something extra...but not the really out there cruel ones
My name is actually a bit unusual - Kiri (Ki-ree). I don't mind my name, more how my parents came up with it - Dad got it from the Beast Master movie cos a girl in was called Kiri and was a bit of a looker! Lol :D
The most unusual name I've heard goes to an American lady I heard calling out to her son in the park, it was pretty funny to hear her calling out "Come here Superman!" Apparently his name was Super, so they nicknamed him Superman
I once taught a D'Weazel!! And his twin brother was called D'Razcal!! Right here in Perth, of recent years too. I almost died! Behind every lovely child is a parent..... :) Each to their own, but that is cruel isn't it?
SAJEK, ATM I like Logan, Xambri, Indra (all names suggested on BB :/) and have always liked Makeira Pearl for our next DD (?), BUT I heard another name of a movie and thought it was awesome......Apollo (Sun god).

I went to school with a Dhonkhan
DD#1 started preschool last week and there is a boy named Jembe, pronounced Jem-bay.
Didn't realise I hadn't posted in here earlier!
My girls are Tiera (like Kira but with a T, spelt like the tier of a cake) and Hadley, just hhow it's spelt!
If we had a boy with #1 he would have been Chase, very common now and with #2 it would have been Huxley.
