    Name too similar?

I feel a bit silly about this, but thought I'd put it out there for feedback. One of favorite names for a girl is Holly. We stayed at a place called the Hollies on our honeymoon and we loved the name. It's possible we conceived our angel baby there.

Anyway, whilst I was trawling through facebook friends, I discovered the name of DH's ex's daughter is Molly. I think it's a lovely name, but wonder is Holly too similar?

We live on the other side of the world, so will never run into her, but there are friends in common who may mention our bub's name. Should I even be bothered about this or just ignore it, or is it too similar? It's not the only name on our shortlist, but we both really like it.

I wouldn't worry about it honey, if you love the name then go for it! They're pretty different names imo, and really it doesn't matter what she thinks.

BTW I also love the name Holly! It would've been on our short list too, but our surname starts with a H so it didn't sound that great iykwim

nup. I wouldn't worry about it. Holly is a really pretty name - and all the baby Hollys I've ever known have been delightful.
