Kirsten: DH likes amali, maybe I could sway him to Amalie pronounced same way as annalie but with a M instead? I just don't want her to be called lee as a nickname... I really don't like lee. And there isn't really another nickname
    Of Amalie.

I like ashlyn, might run that by DH.

Arlee/Arleigh (although I just read you don't like Lee)

All the best DD's are named that, but I could be biased....

I have an Ashlyn. Everybody comments how beautiful it is. We have a bit of a thing for names that begin with A but Ashlyn was always our first and only choice for DD.

It means a dream or vision.

Other A names that will be on our list for the future (or maybe I should say on my list) are:

    Abigail (Abbie for short)
    Amy
    Amelia
    Annabelle
    Alana

MrsBexie, if you love Amalie then she could be called Ammy for short instead of Lee.

    I like

    Ainsley Claire
    Ariane (A-ree-arn) Claire
    Annabelle Claire

Picking names is so hard isn't it

I plan on calling my little girl Ahnna. Both DH and I love the name Anna but we have an Emma which is just to close to Anna. So very similar pronounced Are-na. If he doesn't agree (I haven't discussed this name with him as he doesn't know bub is a girl) I'm hoping he will settle on Annaka or Ahnnaka (again pronounced Arr-naka)

I also love the name Arwyn but I know DH doesn't like that name. I too love the meaning of Ahnna. Goodluck deciding. Such a hard choice sometimes to get the perfect name.
