We watched prince of Persia today and one of the girls names on it was Tamina (even though it doesn't start with A, tameika is on our list and it's very similar!)

Another A name I heard an liked was
Anice or Anise... What do you girls think of
    Anise Claire?
I think it sounds better the other way round but I don't want Claire as a first name...

How would it be pronounced? Like A-neice or Ann-ni-see?

I prefer it if it's like A-neice. That sounds lovely with Claire.

:yeahthat: My DD's middle name is Ariane (meaning Holy), i could have very easily named her this as first name if i didn't have my heart set on the first name i had already chosen for her (interesting enough it starts with a C, like your Claire )

    Ariane Clair sounds beautiful

... another 'A' name i think is pretty is Arabella !

    Rowellan:
    It would be pronounced a-neice.

DH for some reason likes Anelie better than Annalie, I think it's because he doesn't want it to be like Anna-lee...

    Anelie pronounced ah-na-lee

I am loving all the suggestions!! I am getting DH to read this thread tomorrow and write down his favs! I'll keep you posted on what he picks.
