the new nut needs a name!

ok, so it's super early, I know, but we're talking names.

I have a feeling we're going pink, but we need to have names for both pink and blue ready, just in case!

and as I'm about 4-5 weeks pg, clearly this needs to get organised immediately....

    previous names decided were

    Charlotte Esther

    Judah Benjamin

but we've kind of gone off Charlotte, as there are so many around! and we've also kind of gone off Benjamin.

We're looking for names which are reasonably known names, but preferably not top 10. And DH doesn't like unisex names.

Names I love but DH is unconvinced about include:

    Evelyn
    Olivia
    Julia
    Veronica
    Vanessa
    Vivienne
    Helen
    Lydia
    Lavinnia
    Nicole

and we still like Esther as a middle name.

DH kind of likes Ruth. And obviously, he likes Esther - but thinks it is better suited to being a middle name.

Boys names I like but DH is unconvinced about include

    Dominic
    Nathanael
    Bartholemew
    Raphael
    Christakas
    Oliver
    Edward

But we're still happy with Judah as the first name.

The middle name has to be something very strong.

    ideas?

^^ my name is Julia too, so I am going Julia or Nicole (my middle name). I actually prefer Nicola. Olivia is really common too - although it is a lovely name.

hmmm.... boys names are trickier. What Luke/Lucas?

I really love the name louise or Louisa, would have called one of my DD's that but my sister is called Louise so I couldn't use it. Just thought it fitted with the feel of your names.

    So far, I'm liking

    Judan Daniel C---

    and

    Evelyn Nicole C---

but I'm not sure about having the girl's name ending and then starting with the ns so close ...

Evelyn Ruth also sounds kind of nice, but I'm not in love with Ruth ...

    hmmm ...

I'm really liking Evelyn as a first name ... I have a pink vibe, and Evelyn feels right ... But Evelyn Esther just doesn't work!

Evelyn and Esther would work if you broke it up. Like Evelyn Ruth Esther.

Love Evelyn but it doesn't work, you're right.

How about Audrey or Aubrey. I heart those names.

Judah Max (X is a strong letter in a name)
