Lionel. I always think of that character from Little Fish. But otherwise, kinda cool. On the list. (I figure if my list is bigger than DH's then I will probably win)

I love Lionel :) and Theodore. How do YOU pronounce Llewellyn? When I say it, it could be mistaken for Lou Ellen. Oops. Barnaby Joyce has forever spoiled the name Barnaby for me.
I think Humphrey is totally ready for a revival and would be a cool name... but what about nick names?
I love Fred!!
From your other choices I really like Percy :D
Theodore is an awesome name. I love Theo as a nick name.
Barnaby reminds me of Barnaby Joyce too but I still like it :)
Henry is the only name currently on my boys list.
Oh what beautiful old names!
Here are a few suggestions,
Alastair
Franklin
Bertrand
Oleander
Chester
Milton
Evander
Thaddeus
Good luck with your decision!
We had Evander on one of our early lists.
Hum as a nn for Humphrey
This might be TMI but I have heard older men use the term 'Percy' for penis. Have others heard this? I'm just wondering if it is widely used or if I have just been unlucky in the company I have kept
 Ash. Don't think I've ever heard that (thankfully) did make me
I have never heard Percy for penis, but DH has said no anyway. We have a neighbour called Percy, he's 7 and DD adores him. Might be too close for comfort.
Hey, schonell, funny you should step in. What do you think of me having kids called Eleanor and Fred? Am I the only nerd who's going to notice the Schonell connection? Henry is still on our list, it's probably number 1.
Thanks Dolly - I can't get my head around Walter. But if you have any other loves, shoot them this way. I know you have great taste in baby girl names ;)
Bernard?
I just found Carlisle. I love it. Somebody else use it for me please.
Not Bernard. I know a Bernard my age and I feel awkward calling him that for some reason. It just feels awkward to say. He also goes by Bernie but then I had a school friend called Bernadette who we called Bernie so that seems odd to me too.
oh humphrey would be shortened to Humph and, i dunno, it just doesn't sound like a fond term iykwim?
i love the name Soames (saw it on one of the forsythe saga remakes lol). DH hated it!
my grandfather was clifford, he hated it not sure why. Wasn't bill cosby's charater cliff huxdeable? and his son theo? lol
I do like the name theo muchly.
don't mind barnaby but surely barnacle would be lobbed in there by kids?
