I have no idea about the perfect name! DS is Jensen Andrew, but for this bub - we're totally clueless. At the beginning, we had a girls name picked out, and now, even that is out the window.

my daughters was the most perfect name and still is Katy Rose.......I chose it when I was in highschool

my boys were harder I dont know why robert was always going to be a middle name, I had no relaives with this name it just stuck whenever I thought boys name Jake, treyy the list went on robert was the middle name, and low and behold I met and married a man whose dad's name is robert and whose middle name is robert so I guess you could say Robert was a my perfect choice

sos I have Jack Robert and Luke Archer Archer I have loved for years as well and FIL middle name is archerbald so it fits as well

I don't feel like either of sons got a 'perfect' name. I just couldn't find a name that I felt had the perfect balance of funky, unique, not-too-wacky, good nick-name...

For a girl I would have used Ramona and I think it's a perfect name.

My DS already has the Perfect boys name, (Quinn) so if this baby is a boy it will have to have the 2nd most perfect boys name, I just need to find it. Then I'll feel guilty that possible DS #2 has the 2nd most perfect name. I am liking all of these lovely perfect names though - keep 'em coming.

meow: I know what you mean with the perfect balance of funky unique not too whacky...they are pretty much my criteria, has to be easy to say and spell and not too crazy but not too common, all the names I liked before DS was born have become a lot more common since 4 years ago.

Rach75 I love that you always wanted Robert then your DH had all of the robert connections, VERY cool!

We had lots of nice names on our list for DS but it wasn't until we saw 'Archie George' that we both knew it was the perfect name - we had a lightbulb moment of "yep, that's it!"

I do worry that finding another perfect name for a second DS is going to be a challenge.

My perfect name for a girl is/was Audrey but I don't think it goes well with Archie, so I'll have to find another.

Good luck with your search. I hope you have that lightbulb moment.

When DS was born, DP and I both knew that he was going to be called Quinn, we didn't discuss it for about 12 hours but both had the same opinion. This time we cannot agree at all on names for boy or girl. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens when this one is born - not long to go now so the issue will have to be solved one way or another. I love all of the perfect names you have for your children.

    I am awaiting the lightbulb!!!

    Still nothing...

My favorite name was always Charlotte Claire but 2 cousins on the same side of the family have used Charlotte (one is about 4 years old and one approx 9mths) so BOO to them!!! I have wanted that name since high school but not now...

Also - our 'almost perfect' name choice for DS was Angus, which I love, but it got trumped by Archie.
