Please give opinion on chosen names!!

Hi all, we are due in 4 weeks for baby #2 and just want some honest opinions on these names.........
Boy- Emmett Thomas

Girl- Neve Dior
Neve Charlize

Emmett Thomas is sweet I like it.

I love the name Neve BUT I think Charlize is too much with it and Dior sounds a bit weird. Sorry maybe try

I like Emmett Thomas and I like Neve (but spelled Niamh) but I'm not a fan of either Charlize or Dior. Neve is a gaelic name and neither Charlize or Dior go with it IMHO...but it is up to you at the end of the day

I like Neve but not 100% on the middle names but if i was to pick from the 2 you have i would choose Neve Dior

My DD is Niamh (pronounced Neeve) so I adore the name, but I agree it's a bit much with Dior or Charlize. If of course you are going to pronounce it Nev (as in Neve Campbell) then Neve Charlize may be ok.

Emmett Thomas is cool, a nice strong boys name

Thanks so much for all replys............i think you guys may be right re 2nd names, i will have another think about it.Maybe a softer 2nd name is what it needs. My daughters name is Matisse so i think if its a boy, Emmett will go well with it!

Shellybean- i want if pronounced Neeve, and i like your daughters spelling but do you find people dont know how to pronounce her name or is it not an issue? I just noticed that you are a few days overdue.............hope your well, good luck!! What are you calling this little one?

I also love Neve - different! I know a little girl with the same name, but spelt very differently. I think its Irish?? Is that right? Dior - woah! Gorgeous!

I find more and more people can pronounce & spell it right especially those from the UK. Niamh was in the top 10 girls names in England the year DD was born (2000) so most Brits can pronounce & spell it. Besides she loves having a gaelic name and even at 10 isn't sick of spelling it for people. Yes this little princess is stubbornly refusing to grace us with her presence, fx she is quite as late as the first one (who was 3 wks over ) she will be Xanthe Aoife (Eefa) if she ever arrives.

I like Neve too, but agree maybe a softer middle name. And I also like Matisse!

ohhh i like your choices! your right Emmett & Matisse go really well together.
i dont mind Nevaeh and then shortening it to Neve, but also like Neve on its own.
pitty dh doesnt like it cause if we have another the name will start with a N, M, J or T so limits the choices
