    Quinn - for a girl?

I am LOVING the name Quinn for a girl. I know it's not very "girly" as such but I think it would be absolutely gorgeous on a girl. It is Celtic meaning "wise" and is widely accepted as a unisex name.

What would you pair it with as a middle name? I can't think of anything!

Perhaps it's because it's only one syllable? What are some girl names that would have Quinn as a shortened version?

Yeah I think Quinn is Daria's sister on the ABC show Daria. I love that show.

    Like the name too!

Love it Love it!!! I think it's very pretty and stylish - pair it with a slightly more feminine middle name to make it girlier but it's soooo nice!

    Quinn Alice
    Quinn Elise
    Quinn Jasmine
    Quinn Dakota
    Quinn Maddison

    Just a few ideas!

I like the idea of pairing it with something girly and pretty (I love pretty names!) but I just can't seem to find any that fits with such a short name...

I like the sound of Quinn Elise but I'm not a huge fan of the name Elise.

Does anyone have some suggestions of a name that flows similar to that?

    Quinn Matisse
    Quinn Alexis/Alexa
Quinn Harper (but doesn't go with our surname)
    Quinn Maia
    Quinn Riley

None of them are really standing out though - suggestions please!!!!

Love it, love it, love it!!! I loooooove the name Quinn for either sex.
I personally like Ilana too, Sangie - I was thinking about it for a middle name for ours if it's a girl. Problem is we like the name Phoebe and our surname starts with S, so her initials would be PIS. Have decided against Ilana
What about other middle names starting with a vowel? I think vowel names flow on nicely from the n sound.
    Quinn Antonia
    Quinn Antoinette
    Quinn Aurelia
    Quinn Eliza
    Quinn Olivia

    Thumbs up

I like QUINN for a girl's name ... but would be mindful some people might hear it as Gwen or Queen

Ah, but who cares about that ... my name is Lorelle and i have gotten Laurel a million times ... i just got use to it ... personally doesn't bother me but it might others

Feel like i want to put a middle name with an ' n ' in it like ... Quinn Helena or Quinn Ariane (my daughter's middle name meaning Holy)

I thought about the "Queen" sound as well. Which is why I would probably avoid traditional names like Elizabeth, Victoria, Antoinette and Josephine.

So far my favs of your suggestions are

Quinn Elise (this is starting to grow on me the more I look at it)
    Quinn Aurelia
    Quinn Ariane

I still like the 'ise' sound at the end of Elise. I love the name Caprice but Quinn Caprice has the same sound at the start...

I LOVE this name so much and it's quickly becoming my fav but this is the only name I have ever been stumped on finding a middle name for!!

    I like the sound of

    Quinn Violet

It looks really pretty and feminine! I also like the sound of Quinn Marie but I think it falls into that "traditional" category where Quinn ends up sounding like Queen!

    Hmm so its down to..

    Quinn Elise
    Quinn Violet
