    Tallulah

Just a couple of questions about the name Tallulah.

Would you pronounce it Ta - loo - lah or Ta -lool - ah? (note the difference in the sound of the middle of the name)

Would you use the nickname 'Lula' or something else?

Do you think it's too out there?

What kind of personality to you associate with this name? Is it pretty?

I associate Jodie Foster age 13 or so singing "my name is Tallulah" in that movie I cannot remember for some reason. and I love it.

I would pronounce Ta - loo - lah - nicknames Lu, or Lu-la or Tali
And I am personally (sorry) not fond... I get "trailer trash" vibes when I hear it...

Yeah I'd pronounce it the same way as Missy Mel.

And I'd only use it if the middle name was Belle cos that just sounds really pretty.

    But that's so Bruce/Demi!!!

Not sure what I would pair it with, something either really strong or something super pretty.

It's great that you guys pronounce it that way - I was a bit worried people would say it with that "drawl" in the middle.

I prefer the sp. Tallulah. And I would also pronounce it Ta -loo-lah.

I know a couple of girls under 5 with this name. And of course, there is Tallulah from Maisy Mouse!

There is a Tallulah in my sister's mother's group, she's a very pretty baby!

Not so sure if I'm a fan though... TBH...

But its not about what I think!

I am possibly using this name as the heroine in my novel. So think of it in terms of a 21 year old girl rather than a baby or a child. I wanted something a little different, because I want her name to stand out.

    My alternative is Sophia.

This name reminds me of the movie "cool Runnings". When their naming their sled he wants to call it Tullulah and everyone laughs and he gets angry cos its his mums name.
