Your mission should you accept is to suggest a boys name that is
(a) obvious to pronounce and spell
(b) different enough to not need a surname initial following it at school - eg: Jack F......
(c) needs to go with siblings, Georgia and Hamish
Go your hardest ladies - looking forward to hearing your suggestions as we are dead on our feet with this.
Wish I could help hun, but I a bit screwed if this on eis a boy for me too. I have NO biys names!
Good luck hope you find the perfect one. Im sure once his in the world you'll know exactly what to call him
I know lots of Georgia's with brothers called Darcy.
Others that come to mind are:
Angus
George
Lachlan (maybe a bit popular)
Austin
Christian
Jeremy
Isaac
Stellan
Eammon
Xavier
Tobias
Aaron
We have discussed some of the suggestions and are added to our shortlist -
Issac, Campbell and Nixon.
Our list is as follows - but we truly do not LOVE any of them..... none seem to fit !
Logan - A bit too popular
Nathaniel (I love this but DG does not)
Harry (DH loves this but I do not)
Carter - Doesn't sound great with surname but a cool name.
Phoenix - As above, would love to use it but apprehensive about it being too weird ?
Christian - We both like it however I wouldn't want it shortened to Chris and given that he will more than likely be attending a Christian School, could this be a problem ?
This dilemma is getting to me - I need it sorted....somehow ?
Oran
Ronan
Jeremy (Jem)
Rohan/Rowan
Kenzie
Jude
Regan
Harley
I like Phoenix. I don't think it is regarded as weird these days. It is not as uncommon as it was 5 or more years ago, but it is still unlikely that you will run in to another one (or two, or three).
If you are looking for something straightforward to spell, Issac would probaby be continually mispelled as Isaac, especially at a Christian school give its a biblical name.
I dont think have the name Christian would be an issue.
