    Too Similar?

My DH's cousin called his daughter Tileah Mae, they don't live near us and we very rarely see them but DH's mother calls her sister (Tileah's Grandmother) like 5 times a day so is alays hearing what Tileah is up to.

Anyway, I love the name Leah and was just wondering if it is too close to Tileah? What do you think? And do you have any other suggestions for girls names?

    Would love the help

    Thanks

    How is Tileah, Pronounced???

I would use it if you really like it, maybe run it by your MIL, just to put it out there.....see what she says...

You could try spelling it differently. Maybe Leia or Leea?

i think if you like it you should use it. i have 2 cousins who both have 'charlie's' one is a boy and one is a girl.. and they do see each other often! (i think one cousin stole the name off the other who had told everyone 'thats what i'm going to name.' before her bub was born, but she decide to still use it anyway. iykwim?)
that didnt really make sense... but i hope you get my drift

I would still use it if you cant find any other name that you love just as much.
Perhaps you can spell it Lia - like Mia.
There is always the option of having Leah as a middle name if you happen to find another girls name that you both like.

I think it is too similar, but if you love it I would go for it.

I have a cousin who has a son named Cale, and I absolutely loved the name Caleb... but because of our grandparents, we decided not to use Caleb as it would get way too confusing for the grandparents.

I think you can use it! My friend's 2 neice are Mia and Eliah and they live together!!! Also I have a cousin that I don't know that has a daughter with the same name as my daughter, not a both cuz I NEVER see them.

If you love it then use it!

I'd do it if you love it and it's not like you see them all the time

I loved Blake... but my nephew is Drake We see them all the time so it wasn't gonna happen, but I have a friend with a girl called Asha (Ash) and I called mine Ashton (Ash also) and there is no issues since we only see eachother 2 or 3 times a year

Can't help you with girls names I only have had boys and I've had a massive list of those!! Only 2 girls names are on my list, Lily and Aurora (Rori).
