Hi everyone......
my hubby and i will be TTC very soon ad have been discussing names already!! a bit keen i know but fun all the same!!!
i have one issue id like ur opinions on...
my DP's dad passed away january just gone and he wants to use his dads name as our childs middle name if its a boy....
the only issue is we love the name jett for a boy and his dads name was melvin.... and im not sure if i like Jett Melvin.....
i really want Jett Levi.....
i havnt told my partner about this as things still get a bit sensitive around the subject of his dad......
on the other hand i feel bad as the kid will get his surname his dads name and my family gets left out...my dad isnt in the pic so that no prob..but would have loved to put my pa in the mix and he is arthur....poor kid is going to have 5 names the rate its going!!!! please help!!!
would also like other name suggestions for boys and girls...
we like things a little different but not to way out!!!
Both sound great and I like the sound of Melvin with Jett anyway! You could compromise on the middle names - DH can have his father's name for this bub and the next bub can have names from your family.
lok its not the worst sounding but i still prefer just jett levi but i guess i should compromise!!!
he originally wanted Levi Melvin but our surname is kelly and im not a fan of things ending in "i" or "y" with our surname its to much.....
thanks for the name suggestions!!!
girls are the difficult ones i rekon
we like maddison
mackenzie
ayvah
and i love shilo but hubby isnt a fan
same with sienna!!!
fussy bugger he is!!!
looks like we will be TTC around the same time...hoping to start in 09
Levi Melvin Kelly sounds FANTASTIC! I love your name choices.
DH and I always talk about names - we never agree though. He is stuck on the name Imogen (which I really like but I don't LOVE) and my favourites are Allegra and Quinn which he isn't a huge fan of.
I'm coming across a few boy babies lately that have TWO middle names ... i reckon that's your best option and at least it should make it easier for you
