Still TTC but have come across a boys name that I like but had never heard before and within the last 3 months I ended up teaching 2 with the name (20 + year olds) and it is the surname of the guy on that new NCIS LA show. Anyway I wanted your thoughts on what you think of it.

Callen - I think I would spell it Kallen

I like Callen (and prefer it spelt with the C) Its not a very common name (i think? lol)
I think that Callum is a name i've heard more often, but I just don't like the look of the name ending in -um for some reason!
So yeah, I quite like the name Callen!

I like Kallen too. Spelt either way.
I know a little boy named Callen and he's a cutie! I have terrible name association, being a childcare worker so if a child has a name I like I automatically associate the child's nature with the name, lol!
I had Callum for a boy, but dh said no at the last minute! So DS got Liam.

Even though i'm a huge fan of boy's names starting with a " K " i must admit i much prefer it spelt Callum

By the way, i really love the name

As a teacher I get terrible name association too so since we had a really awful Callen at school last year I am completely off it!! (I liked it before that LOL)

i have heard of it before but i'm a childcare teacher. i rarely come across a name i havent heard. lol. its a nice name. i've also seen it spelt cailon. xox

The boy that lives next door to us is named Callen. He is 13 so it would have been fairly uncommon then too. It is a great name.
