    What do you think??

    Hi BB,

We have our second delight due in September 2011 and have just started talking about names... Our first, was a princess, so we are mostly looking for girl names as our boy name is going to stick around for this one.

    The two I love are:

    Georgia Isabelle
    and
    Ava Isabelle/Charlotte

I guess what I also want to know is, does popularity of a name bother you? I mean they will always just be 'our' Ava or Georgia... I can't pick them apart, I love both of them. Our first DD has a classic name that isnt unusual but also not popular.

    Thanks

DD1 is Ava Lilly, I didn't realise but at the time it was the most popular girls name, it hasn't bothered me at all, I think she's met 1 other Ava

    Both your selections are gorgeous

Oh I LOVE the name Georgia! Georgia Isabelle sounds beautiful. To me, popularity of the name doesn't matter as much as the fact that I'll be calling my daughter this for the rest of my life - we have to love it! I wouldn't discount a name I really wanted just because it was popular

They're lovely names. Hard to choose. Maybe wait and see what baby looks like.

Ava & Georgia are both such beautiful names!!! Our dd name was in the top 10 when we had her, doesn't worry us, we loved the name.

Popularity does bother me a little but we mainly chose an unusual name because I'm a teacher and most names come with a picture of a child (and their personality/behaviour) with that name already attached, iykwim. It's mostly a boy thing, and mostly the negative ones I was keen to avoid.

Our girl choice, which we'll use if we have a girl in the future, is in the top 10 at the moment, but we want it because of family connections. Unless I suddenly meet a whole bunch of people with that name, with really strong personalities, we won't change.

FWIW, I like both your name choices.
