What do you think of Casey?

...And when you see it do you think boy or girl? My DH suggested it for our little man & i think it's ok but not sure(he was thinking of Casey Jones the RR engineer at the time) The other names we have on our list are Thomas or Daniel & my other son's names are Jesse & William & our last name is Hook.

I think it is a fantastic name.....but i guess i'm a bit bias as its my name! I have heard it used for both boy and girl name and i think it works well for both. It also means Brave in Irish.

Gorgeous name for a boy, just be aware that with your surname, it will sometimes read as: C Hook (chook).

    Good luck deciding!

I like it for a boy but definitely not a girl. I think Casey for boy and Cassie for a girl. I think Casey would work well with your other boys names.

I always think boy but my DS is called Kees (pronounced case) so he gets called Casey all the time.

My other DS has a boy in his rugby team called Casey but my brothers friends has a daughter called Kasey so it really is a uni sex name.

I think it is fine for both...I knew a Kasey (female) when I was younger, so I alway think of that name as feminine.
