Question What do you think of this name?

Not too strange - considering its from me!!

    Calliope.

I saw an email here at work just a few minutes ago and the sender had this name, but spelt it Kalliope.

I remember watching grey's anatomy once and finding out that was what Cally's name was - and me and DH really liked it.

Just brought back some memories and wanted to know what others thought.

Although for some reason it reminds DH of paw paws? Strange man.

Arimeh... I think the K spelling suits you more - may I ask how it is pronounced... I like the look of it but am not sure on how to say it but that could be cause I have no glasses today!

You beat me to it lol. I was just about to say it's a town near me. Everyone normally pronounces it as Call-eye-pee, but have heard Call-ee-oh-pee which is...different. I think it looks pretty as a name though.

    We would pronounce it Call-eye-oh-pee.

Kate - thats so cute about your mum!!!

Bron - I hope you bit her back.

Sarah - nah he knows the difference. I quizzed him about it, and he said it didn't matter, we could still use it cos if Aricyn's name reminded him of dog poo he still would have used it

My husband is weird. Which is probably why we are together

I prefer it with the traditional spelling. It looks kind of try hard with the K.
That said I don't like the name because it reminds me of a mean girl who bit me.

    Love it, with the C.

The lady on Days of our Lives YEARS ago had it... the happy go lucky one who dressed all bright and cheery!!!!

ps... although I must add, i LOVE "Z" names, and prefer Zenna...... Zavier was nearly called Zander...., and Harmony was nearly called Zara, but the ex called his dog Zara, so she almost got Zaria....
