What do you think of this name?

I just wanted to ask about this girl's name on behalf of a friend:

    Emiliana (ee-mear-lee-ar-nah)

So, tell me what you think, and I'll pass it on .

    TIA

I think it is a really nice name. It might get shortened to em, emily... Would that sit alright with your friend?

I like it! Sounds pretty but for me it is to complicated.

Emmaline is actually on my girls name list (pronounced as spelt )

    I like it

And it will give her lots of options for abbreviation if she wants a nickname when she's older

It's very pretty. Although when I first read it (and the pronunciation) I read Emilina (em - ar - lee - nah). Must still be too early for me! It sounds pretty too

    Like it.

I know a Milijana ( Mili ar na ) shortened to Mili of course, I think I like that better as I prefer Mili to Em as a shortened name.

I like it but I'd pronounce it Em-ee-lee-ar-nah so I'd goof it up.

I kinda stumbled over the pronunciation... it has an extra consonent than I expected. It's pretty, but I don't think I would name my own DD that. Sorry.

It's nice although I wouldn't use it. I know someone by that name (DD's friend) and she gets called "milly".
