Boy for me, I dont know anyone by this name IRL, and for me it conjures up nicknames like Mac and Macca which are boy names for me

I automatically think girl but thats because there is a radio announcer on the local wire who has a daughter named Mackenzie Paige and he talks about her heaps during his shows.

Thanks... I was assuming most people would jump to girl, but Manhattan, it is great to know some think BOY.

I love it as a boys name... Mack... I always have, I think is is a strong sounding masculine name, But now is is so female orientated, I am concerned that if I chose to use is that way my poor son would be though of as a girl when people read his name, or calling out Mackenzie in a playground, I would get 10 girls looking round, and then my poor little boy... And knowing how many people love is as a girls name worries me too...

Dunno, we are really struggling with naming this little one...
