I bought a bubba moe and then sold it on ebay. I found it really really big for bubs.

I would maybe wait until you have your baby then go and try them out with your baby to see what you both like as they arent cheap.

I haven't tried a Baba sling but I have a Bubba Moe and I *looove* it! One thing I do have to watch with DD2 (at around 9kgs) is that if worn in certain positions for long periods of time, it can put a bit of strain on my neck and shoulders... but that's easily fixed by popping her up on my hip rather than laying bunched up in it like she does when she's napping. I agree with AliBaby, maybe just wait till bubs is born and you can try them out (or borrow a friend's bub hehehe). I assume most slings that are designed similar to Bubba Moes will have the same problem when it comes to straining your shoulders, so just keep that in mind I've heard nothing but good things about Ergo carriers, I just don't have a local stockist so bought a Bubba Moe when I saw it at my local baby store

Sorry this is a rushed post, about to run out the door - but honestly - neither!

Both are based on a similar design which has limitations in terms of adjustability, and therefore, comfort for both you and your baby.

I would suggest a ring sling over a buckle sling. Can come back later with specific recommendations if you like.
