Can't get DD in her peanut shell!

Was so excited to get my peanut shell sling in the mail today. But I've just tried it out and I can't get DD in there! I don't know what I am doing wrong, but it just doesn't seem to open up enough for me to get her in there and ends up in her getting upset and screaming.

I don't the sling is too small, I'm only short (about 157 cm) and I was 55kg pre-DD but don't think I would be anymore than 65kg now. I got a small size, maybe i should have got a medium??

Any help or tips to get her in would be great, I don't want the sling to be a giant waste of money and would really love to use it!

There is an awesome tutorial on Youtube if you search for it, shows you exactly what to do.

I am having the same problem as well!! I am about the same height and weight as you, but I got a medium and I was wondering if mine was too big.

I have watched the Youtube clip about a million times, and I just dont find it explains it well enough. I have only managed to get him in it once where he actually looked comfortable and he didnt scream.

Now he is a little older I have tried doing the front facing position, and he seems much happier when he is in it like that (although not for very long) But I am yet to venture out of the house with him in it yet.

    Any tips would be great!
