Talking I got my Ergo today!!! Woohoo!!!

Good bye Hug-a-bub..... Hello Ergo carrier!!!! I love it!!!!

Only thing is, it didn't come with an instruction booklet and the box says "keep instruction booklet handy" but I didn't get one?

    Am I meant to???

I have been looking at videos on You Tube which shows me how to put it on different ways which is good....

For the amount of $$ it cost, you'd think they would give you a booklet too!!!

With the new ergos, they no longer give an instructional DVD - the distributors have put a link online for everyone to go and check it out.

Google Babes in Arms, they have it on there.

    Hope that helps.

Oh I love mine too!! Had the HAB with Oskar but didn't use it much cos it's really a PITA...lol. Mel (Arimeh) put me onto the Ergo and ooooOOOooOh if I didn't love her before (which I did hehe) I sure did after! Wonderful they are. I've actually made an acquaintance with a lady I saw around the shops who has one too... her little boy is 9 months and she used to see me with my belly lol. We chat when we see each other now all because of the ERGO!

We DID get a booklet with it!!! it was hidden under the box when I took it out I was so excited and didnt' see it fall out... hahaha!!! They were very quick to email me and ask for my postal address so they could send one but I told them thanks but I found it.!!
I think looking at you tube vid's of how to use it is easier anyway!!!

I LOVE it and so does DD and even DH!!!! $$ well spent here. I had it on for 1.5hrs yesterday arvo when DD was a bit grumpy and she was so content and my back didnt hurt or anything!!!

Arimeh - it was cheaper from Baby Soft Landings!! We looked at Babes in arms.

Ozziehoffy - yeah you sound like me! Never used the HAB much anyway!!! I'm considering selling it but may keep it for next bub in those early weeks when they are light little things.... haha love your Ergo story too.

My ergo has been in use since ds was a newborn, its probably my favourite carrier (although now days my ring sling get more of a work out). Its been so handy for when ds was quite little and hated the pram, i just put it in the basket and whipped it out when he got grumpy. Its great for walking on the beach and super comfy for long trips. Ds now sits in the shopping trolley but i dont think i could have ever done the groceries without it beforehand! I could go on and on and on lol.
Wait till you master the backcarry - then you will love it even more!

We always used either the HAB or the buckle sling.... like the ring sling but with a buckle instead.... and thats been awesome for when i'm out shopping with trolley i just have her on my hips but its not totally hands free and sometimes with a full trolley it would be a bit difficult....
The peanut sling (like the peanut shell) has been awesome for quick trips to the shops but now i'm going to use the Ergo ALL the time I'm in looooove......

I'm lucky DD doesn't seem to mind her stroller when we are out shopping but I prefer to carry her.... much nicer for both of us
