Manduca or City Select second seat?

So I can't decide whether to get a baby carrier or a second seat for my City Select? DS (3 in April) didn't really use the pram before DS (4 months), but now he ants to go in it again. I've also got the skate board attachment which he was pretty happy with until a few weeks ago. Now he wants to use the seat.

Just wondering if anyone had some suggestions?

Could you get both? Both might be handy at different times. The manduca could also be used for your older boy, if you need to switch them around. When my DD was little I often wore DS and put her in the stroller, then she hated the stroller and went in the carrier and I pushed DS in the stroller if it was too far to walk.

I've been carrying DS in the ergo (back or front, I let him choose) when he doesn't want to walk, and DD has the pram. When DS really really wants the pram I put DD in the ergo but most of the time the novelty of a back ride means DS is very happy in the ergo (and he loves to play with my hair)

Maybe go along to a babywearing meet to try some carriers on. Manducas can be great but there are lots of different options and different ones tend to suit different people and bubs.

    i would go both.

Actually, think about how you shop and get around. Do you always have both kids with you? Trying on clothes or shoes can be hard with a baby in carrier. Is your son a runner/escapist? Pram comes in handy if he is.

I'd go both too. Google sling meets Australia to help you find a local baby wearing group. I go to the ones in Melbourne and its a great way to try different carriers. We are currently trying out a Didytai and absolutely love it! I hear the ergo is good but more suited to a mans shape etc. my DP also loves and uses the Didytai.
The business that we will order one from is tinoki In Melbourne.
