    Am I doing something wrong??

We bought a Caboo close carrier this time around and so far me and DS2 are loving it. He basically lives in it from morning to bed time. Yesterday we even managed a feed in it while I was getting dinner ready!

However I'm noticing that after he's been in it a few hours, he is slanted quite to one side.

So there's the two bits of material that come over your shoulders, one on top, one under? He always ends up leaning towards the on top side, ITMS!

His little arm falls out on that same side and his leg on that side is always lower than the other. He ends up with his head resting on my breast, as opposed to sitting up between them sort of.

My sister commented today it looked like he was going to fall out on that side. He looks a bit askew.

I try and tighten that strap but I end up with the rings being right around near my elbow, it's so tight! And yet that on top strap always seems looser than than the other. The other side, conversely, feels like it has all the weight on it - from the ache in my shoulder anyway.

    What am I doing wrong??

They should both come over his back like an X, with the bottom two 'legs' of the X going under his knees and around to your back. So the cross point of the X should be under and on his bum.

So they should BOTH be over him, he should be directly against your body with nothing (except your clothes!) between the two of you.

    Can you post a pic?

There's a video on their website that shows how it should be worn if that helps?

I just checked that out - am going to try and check myself in the mirror tomorrow. I think he was too low to begin with, and I'm not using the wrap bit, which maybe I should...

Need to make sure I've got the close down low on my back, plus the X under his bottom. Hope it all helps.

They didn't work for me, just couldn't get it to fit right. - too big. Not everything works for everyone - just something to bear in mind. Hope you can get it figured out.
Give me a yell if you need some enabling to find something else, though

the 2nd wrap does give you more support. i didn't use it all the time either, but it was more secure with it on.

check your arm bits to make sure you don't have a twist in one side too.

if the x was too high on my back it wasn't comfy either.
