    wearing on your back???

I was mowing the other day and MJ insisted on helping.
At first she helped push (she had all the protective gear on) but then she wanted to be up high.
I tried to keep her occupied with other things, but she would just stand there and cry if she wasnt involved.

eventually i got my Hug-a-bub out and sort of fashioned a sling around her and myself, but i had to put her on my back first then wrap it around.

She LOVED IT, and snuggled into my back, the only problem was that where it sat it caused her to have her neck in a funny position, she didnt seem bothered and each time i emptied the catcher i stood at the indow and checked out the reflection to make sure that it wasnt cutting into her anywhere...

It was so comfy for me (other than her ear protectiong digging into my back) that i would like to wear her again on my back - but need a better way of wrapping her on.

Buying another sling is not an option

    TIA

    I have a Kari-Me, which is a similar thing.

To put DS on my back, I just put the sling on but backwards. It's easier if another adult helps tuck him in, but I know DS is safe with me doing it and checking it in the mirror.

DS sometimes has his neck a bit odd, but he moves it a lot. He snuggles into me and it's a lot better than a side-carry, especially at his size.
