Is 19mo too young for Play School concert?

Just read in Melbourne's Child mag about upcoming Play School concerts. Moo will be just on 19 months when it's on near us.

Has anyone ever been? Do you think he's too young this year? He watches the DVDs

We went to a playschool concert last year, don't remember exactly when it was but DD would have been roughly 14 or 15 months maybe? Towards the end she got grizzly and I don't think she noticed the people up on stage, or even the music sometimes! Was still ok though. At 19 months he would be a bit more aware and I think he would enjoy it (and you too ). We went with a friend who has a little boy the same age as DD and he was good, loved bouncing around to the music. I say go for it! The tickets are pretty cheap and it only went for about 45 mins.

Woo CM I'd better keep an eye out for when they are back around my area - my MIL took DD when she was only about 15mths and she loved it so I'll definitely have to go again!

It's only too young if you have another "mobile" child to look after at the same time (ie: and 19mo and 3yo) - those places suck when two kids run in different directions LOL!

We love the Playschool concerts too!! They have such a simple concept but the kids love it. DD2 was probably about 16 months when she first went and I think she liked it more than her big sister!!
