How do you stop yourself going totally insane???

My baby girl that used to be so good is pushing all my buttons and i think i might jsut go insane!
Regressing in TTing, MAJOR MAJOR procrastination at bedtimes and getting dressed. I can deal with the "but why?" however the answer of "because" to everything i ask might just do my head in!!
seriously - i know this will pass but in the meantime....

Tell me about it! I didn't even know I had some of the buttons dd has been pushing lately. All I hear is 'no no no no' or 'I'm not ready'.

I have found the more face time and positive play time I have with dd the more cooperative she is... Not easy with a newborn.

Yes - or " I don't want to wear that" or "i'm a big girl and i'm not tired" - but shes yawning her head off and rubbing her eyes and falling asleep on the lounge. Oh and "I CAN DO IT! NOT YOU!" getting dressed, getting her drink, buttering toast - seriously!?!? When did they become so idenpendent? I've had to put child locks of every drawer in the bedroom along with the waredrobe to stop the 6 changes of clthes before she goes to sleep

We are having the same issues here. The "No I'll do it" does my head in. Especially when you leave her to do it and she doesn't You are not alone

I hear you!! It can be so frustrating!! All I hear is 'No' and 'DD do it by self!!'

Have you read 'What every parent needs to know' by Margot Sunderland. I feel like I am recommending this all the time but it really is AWESOME and WILL help

Ah don't tell me it gets worst! My DD isn't two for another 3 months and is already doing most of that stuff - (Although not fulling TT but shes working on it); she is a nightmare to get dressed! and then will just go into her draws and get dressed in what she wants anyway! I get "why" with everrrrrrrrrything! But I have to say I find it cute. hehe

See I can deal with the why - just not the because and the full time procrastination thing she has going on - serously - how many times can one kid go to the toilet before bed!
