2 year old not sleeping-any solutions would be appreciated

Hi,

My DD (just turned 2 years) has always been a good sleeper, since she was 4 weeks old. In the last few weeks, she is resiting going to afternoon nap and sleeping at night. I have to rock her or lay with her for ages before she finally falls asleep (last time i did this was when she was a little baby). Also, she has been waking up during the night and needs to be cuddled to get back (eventually). I don't know if she had a bad nightmare or getting who molar teeth (doesnt look like it though) or having separation anxiety. Any ideas on how to get her back to her routine.

We jumped started our routine back by taking DD to a playcentre and ran and ran and ran (lol me too), till it was time for our daytime sleep which was 11 but now pushed back to 1. We had a sleep nanny who told us that if DD wasnt getting a good day nap her night sleep would also suffer. We have had a great month so far with her self settling again and at least 2 hrs throu the day

Thanks Bec G for your advice, we have taken her to the park to run around then tried a sleep. but no luck, i will give the playcafes ago. thanks again.
