    Smile 2nd birthday gift ideas

DD is 2 in September so plenty of time but we keep changing our minds on what to get her! I would love some ideas so I can be inspired! So far we have ruled out:

sandpit - will wait till Xmas when our yard is ready for it
    pool floaties - xmas again

I have already got her a couple of puzzels but that's it.

OKay some cool ideas! She already hs:

playdough, paints, an easel with chalkboard, table and chairs.

My mum is getting her a pram. I like the idea of a cubby but because yard isn't ready (all mud at moment!) then it might be a bit hard.

I have just been watching fairies and thoguh maybe a butterfly costume? Any more ideas?

    What about a wooden dollhouse?
I wanted to get one for bubble but MIL got her a plastic one instead.

Our DD is the same age We're giving her a trike with a detachable handle for us to push, a doll & books. She already has loads of arty crafty stuff, and she loves it all.

She also LOVES her tea-set (makes us "hot tea" all the time and really pours the pot nicely etc). Other thing she plays with a lot is a simple little wooden bed for her dolls that DH made out of some off-cuts. I sewed up a "doona" for it, and she is always putting all her toys to bed in it. She even put all her plastic animals in it, one by one. They are much loved too, just a bag of farm animals I got from a garage sale - best $2 ever spent!
