Unhappy 3mth old needs lots of resettling during day sleeps

Help! Our DD suddenly needs a LOT of resettling during her day sleeps. It's driving me mad!!!

DD has silent reflux and was diagnosed at 10 weeks. She started sleeping through at 9 weeks (9-10 hours straight, no feeds) but her day sleeps were horrendous from about 5.5 weeks unless she was in the sling. We bought her a hammock when she was diagnosed and the hammock combined with the Losec meds were our saviours. The second day on her meds, she slept for 3 hours in the morning without much help at all. We fell in love with Losec and our hammock!

Her sleep has been brilliant since 10 weeks but things have gone a bit pear-shaped the past week. Her night sleeps are still fantastic - 9 to 10 hours straight without a feed - but she's now struggling to stay asleep when she goes down for her day sleeps. She keeps crying in her sleep, like she's going into a new sleep cycle but they're too frequent for it to be that, and we need to constantly rock or bounce her hammock to settle her down again. If we get her up, she's cries louder as she wasn't really awake and is annoyed that she's been woken, IYKWIM.

I don't want to create a habit of constantly resettling her but she won't nod back off on her own and she's super cranky if we get her up too soon or don't get her back to sleep. It's so tough on her! You can see in her little eyes that she's just screaming out for us to help her get to sleep. It breaks my heart!

The next Wonder Week is at 19 weeks so it's not that although my book does say they go through a fussy period from 15-19 weeks so maybe that's it. But as I said, her night sleeps are absolutely brilliant so it's got us stumped.

She's 15 weeks old and will be 4 months on the 5 Jan. Any ideas???

It's horrible when they're screaming but you can see they're tired She could be having a growth spurt maybe?? My DD is almost 18 months and had bad reflux for what seemed like ages (about 8 months), I still settle her off to sleep for both afternoon nap and night sleep (we still naughtily co-sleep ) I think she's just one of those bubs who needs attention....our neighbour's DD is 5 and still likes to have mum lie next to her at night so I think some like a bit more of a cuddle as well. Mine LOVED her hab and it was my saviour

How many day naps is she having? If she's having two and sleeping through the night she may now decide she only wants one nap?

It could also be teeth...my DD gets very irritable with teeth, she doesn't get the classic 'red cheeks and bum or runny pooh' so it took me a while to realise that when she's really grumpy she's teething again. She almost doesn't want to be touched...very cranky when teething!

Maybe she's caught a little bit of a bug that's keeping her from sleeping? Not sure if any of that helps but maybe might give you a few ideas?? Good luck
