Talking Did your child/ren have a natural mohawk?

Hi, when DD was a baby she had a natural grown mohawk. It was like an Elvis Presley kind of ducktail look. I loved it as I'm a huge Elvis fan & find it funny that my baby was born with an Elvis "do" haha.

I shaved it off when she was about 8 months old as we were coming into summer & I thought she'd get too hot with the long hair.

We used to get comments about her hair all the time & family & friends still talk about it.

Now it looks like DS's hair is growing the same way. he didnt have as much hair as DD when born but now that it's starting to get longer you can see both sides at the top are growing in towards the middle giving him the same mohawk LOL

DD had dark hair so hers stood out alot. DS has fair hair so not so obvious.

It's very cute as I dont have to comb it up or anything to get the cute look (I think alot of people presume I take the time to comb it that way LOL)

Has anyone elses kids had hair that grows like this? I'm just curious & I'd love to see pics

I just posted some pics in my gallery of DD's hair when she was younger & DS's taken about an hour ago when he fell asleep on my lap on the lounge (Taken on my phone though so not good quality)

My boys did, with my eldest it was really obvious because he had the thickest and darkest long hair, but it just sat that way. With my youngest, it wasn't as noticeable as his hair is very fair and was finer, but now it just sits flat cause it's getting longer.

I wish!!! DS had really fine hair that stuck up everywhere and we used to get asked if we put gel in it...lol

So not as cool as your kids though - that is awesome!!!
