Whats the best Breast Pump to get?

I had a Lindam last pregnancy but didnt get to use it due to some medication I went on straight after having baby that didnt allow me to breast feed. This time Im not worried about going back on meds (they make me sick anyway so this is a big enough excuse I think) however I did donate my breast pump to a friend of mine so I have to get another one. I see a lot of Nuk ones and Medela on the market. Im mainly interested in electric though. My sister in law had the Avent Pump by hand one and she said it was way too much effort.

I am using the Medela lactaset. I was given the hand pump by a friend and I'm hiring the electric pump from the chemist ($22/week). I'm really happy with it

i had the medela lactaset..i found it great, when i was in hospital they told me to buy the kit from the hospital chemist while i was there as they were half the price than what they are in normal chemist. i think i paid $30 for it.

I had a medela mini electric. it was great, very gentle, but a bit loud.
The new Medela pump on the market is the medela swing, I think next time I'll either get that, or hire a commercial pump from the chemist.

i hired the electric Madela double pump one from the ambulance service cause DH works for them and it was free but im sure the hospital hires them out too. I found it to be fantastic and it was exactly the same as the ones they use in hospital.

I have the Medela mini electric and though loud it works a treat for me. You can use battery or mains power.

Medela looks like the winner by far. Thanks ladies for all your help.
