Advice Needed

My boy is bf and he usually poos atleast 2 times a day except he hasn't done 1 for the past 2 days. He is farting like a champion.He is unwell, temp, teething, generally unsettled atm. Should I be worried? Should I take him to the Drs tomorrow or just wait and see how he goes???

Sorry if this is silly, but I'm just worried about my precious boy.

Mako, sounds very normal to me. After the first few weeks, bf bubs can go up to 2 weeks without a poo! My boys regularly went 10 days in between - lucky me! No need to worry at all.

Yep...sounds very much like Felix!

For the last few months, he has only been poo-ing every 2-5 days...I think his record was 7 days!

The farts are fairly much room-vacaters!

He has also been unwell and teething...

Felix went through a really unsettled patch from about 16-28 weeks, where he really struggled to sleep, seemed unsettled and just not his normal little self.

He's really only come out of the other side of that in the last few weeks...

I think it's all linked up to the 'wonder weeks'

I hope Sage settles soon!

Monnie Yep the farts are definately room clearers lol.
I'll have to look into the "wonder weeks" thing though.

Anyway we are off to the Drs in about an hours time. Sage didn't sleep any longer than 25 mins at a time during the night and he screamed the house down when he was awake His temp is still up 37. I have given him some panadol but it doesn't seem to be doing much (I won't give him neurofen). We'll see what the dr has to say.

We are back from the Drs and Sage has a mild middle ear infection We just have to keep an eye on him and if he gets any worse, we have to take him back.
Atleast we know why he is so out of sorts.

As far as the pooing issue goes, we really don't have anything to worry about, unless it goes on any longer than 7 days. He did the smelliest fart at the drs and the GP just laughed too. How embaressing!!!!!

Yep...I know what you mean about the farts...I was actually embarrassed the other day when we went shopping and Felix did one...you must have been able to smell it at least 5 metres away!!!

Anyway...hope little Sage gets better really soon...
