DS has the flu

Is there anything i can give a 14mo other than dymadon, and a humidifier for his flu, he has a very bad cough.
He is drinking plenty of water, but not eating much.

i'm not sure what you can give him, but when owen had a nasty cold a mth ago the doc recommended dimetapp..but she also said if he developed a cough to take him straight to docs or emergency room as it can develop into bronchiolitis very quick..dunno if this would be the same for an older babe..but just wanted to let you know..

Ice blocks! They save us everytime. Matilda used to get tonsilitis & ear infections quite a bit from 8months-14 months and we used to mix fruit & yogurt together into a puree & freeze it. It was sometimes the only way we could get solids into her and would ease the pain in the throat.
