Just to reiterate what the others have said ... we have a 4br (plus study) house and when DD2 no longer needs day naps we will be looking to put the two of them in one room and have another room as a playroom. That will give us an extra bedroom which we need as DP is a shiftworker. I would have killed to have shared a room with my sister. I think it's good for littlies, not cruel at all.
