some baby shops have approved fitting stations, you can put the anchor bolt in yourself (or DH), just need spanner and some muscle power to ensure it is firmly in place, but for peace of mind its not that costly, we had rear facing seat contverted to forward facing and cost $16 at a baby shop with an approved fitting station and got receipt to verify it, so anchor only shouldn't cost that much??.

Definately have to put the anchor point DIRECTLY behind the seat you are using, dont use middle anchor point for car seat on side of car.
