Hey does anyone have an Avent electirc steriliser? I've lost my instructions and need to know how to clean it. I did manage to find some citric acid, but now I need to know the quantity.

if you can't find it kim just email Avent (address on website)- they were back to me within 24 hrs when I had a query. In saying that it is Friday so maybe someone on here could give you a quicker answer.

I dont have the Avent brand but mine is exactly the same as the Avent one. The instructions say to mix a 10gm sachet with 200ml water.. pour in sterilizer.. do not put lid on.. switch on for 1-2 minutes. Switch off at mains and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse out sterilizer. Run a full cycle emplty with the lid on, using exactly 90ml water. Wipe out the sterilizer.

I am bad as I only ever cleaned mine with detergant...just took a bit of extra scrubbing!
