Ooh where can you get them? DS always has carpet burn from crawling around.

Haha!! No I never saw the point of them myself.

Heva - do you have any baby legs? My kids wore them all the time whilst crawling, especially when on carpet.

I think they would be a waste of money too. Kids have been crawling forever without the need for knee pads!

I second the baby legs idea, cute and great for winter!

Is that what baby legs are for? I have never understood what they do....

hey if you are interested, after some research, easy to make yourself. just take some old thick baby socks, cut the toes out of them, pull them up over their knees, and presto!

    baby knee pads, worth it?

I bought some they cost me $40, DD hated them and they didn't help her crawl any better if anything they hindered her cause they annoyed her...

We have tiles in most of the house and DS crawls like a madman over them and often has little bruises on his knees/legs from all his climbing, but it hasn't slowed him yet.

I too think its a ploy, and as Beautitude said - Their little knees are made for crawling!
