Our little one's great granddad brought one for our car and I read the back of the packet and it said something along the lines of it is a way to let other drivers know there is a baby in the car and they should take extra care, Now they should be taking care anyway!! And who knows if it works!! But they are kinda cute and hey if someone slows down a little from seeing it maybe it will save their life as well as yours and your babies, gotta be a win win there.

ive never heard that , but its good to have one .. i have very dark tinted windows and a unsuspecting family car , i get roused on for parking in the parents with prams so it been handy as ive had to point at it a few times to prove ive got kids ( then they say sorry when i drag the kids out .. tsk tsk)

Not law but when I worked in emergency services, it was something some people say you should have if you have a bad accident. It lets ambos and police etc know there is potentially a child in the car, if somehow they miss seeing the seat from the extent of the car being damaged. Horrible to think of but having said that we had a teddy one that kept falling off so it's now hanging on James' door handle!

I don't think its law, well I've never heard it... We have one, doesn't seem to work though, more like an 'L' plate, more people want to overtake us, maybe they think we'll drive too slow...?

We dont have one as I think that if somebody is going to crash into you they will regardless of a sign. Should I contact the RTA? we never had one with Arden, its been awhile since we had a bub so perhaps things have changed maybe?

They're definitely not law and I don't see the point in them, it shouldn't make you or the people around you slow down. People aren't going to see it and think oh we'll let them off for going too slow etc

I've got one on my car- it says 'Little Dude on Board'. Got it at my baby shower and I thought it was cute- in fact, I stuck it on the car while I was pregnant because the little dude was on board then too!
