Baby with cold sweaty feet?

I noticed earlier that my 11 week old little man had sweat beading on the soles of his feet. His feet are really cold and I have no idea how they could break out into a sweat! His feet are always icy cold no matter how hot the weather is and they always feel a bit clammy, but this is the first time I have noticed actual beads of sweat. They left a little wet patch on his rocker!

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Should I be concerned?

Jasmine is the same Trish.....always wet and cold!

Chelsea was too and i was worried....and my CHN said that she may just have over productive sweat glands and its not of any concern.

Hi Trish. Alister gets really cold clammy feet too and they often feel really sweaty. It's worse when its himid too, like today they were shocking. I have often had to put socks on him in hot weather as his feet are just so cold. People must think I'm nuts LOL. I don't know why they are like that but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Kim - That makes me feel a lot better! Did Chelsea's feet eventually stop sweating?

Sherie - I put socks on my DS on stinking hot days too LOL! It seems so bizaare that their feet can be that cold on such a hot day! Thanks heaps for your post.

I was going to Google sweaty feet, but I thought Dr Google might actually make me worry over the weekend. I'm glad I asked you guys!
