    Question Baby's Nursery

Hello everyone, Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong spot.

Just after help/suggestions in regards to Charlie's nursery. I love to decorate & I'm really trying to make his nursery look great. Unfortunately we live in a remote area & we have to buy most things online. I've found some good stuff on the internet but would love suggestions on anything you think is good or any great websites, or perhaps shops in Perth, will be heading there soon. We've got his name in red, yellow & blue & really cute mobile but that's about it at the moment. Really want some nice storage boxes, prints etc. Any suggestions would be great

Good luck with your decorating! I would try ebay for sure for prints etc - they always have some great stuff that you can personalise too. Good luck!

One cheap easy thing I did for the walls was to buy some canvass from lincraft then I bought pretty patterned material and stuck over the top. They just brighten the room and cost me less than $20 for 3.

    As said e-bay is great.

And even a coat of paint in nice color can make huge difference, we renting so couldn';t do that but friends places I've seen just a bright color painted totally transfornmed room.

Ebay! I think that is the best and cheapest place to get whatever it is you want. Especially if youre not close to the shops also.

We just went basic until we found out what it was Jesse really likes (Elmo).. so now he has an elmo theme. But there are alot of nursery sets out there that arent a particular character.
Id probably google nursery bedding or something to start with, find out what it is you like, then have a look on ebay for it. No doubt it will be on there for a cheaper price also.

    Have fun!

I found a fresh coat of paint and a couple of wooden plaques (google) do wonders......
For my first born (when i had PLENTY of time) i went to bunnings and made my own plaque. Stuck wooden cutouts of a house, a cow, an apple and a cat on this wooden plaque thing. I painted it of course.....nice little touch to the nursery, the fact YOU made it !

    Erin,

I found most of the baby shops in Perth to be much of a muchness - they all seem to sell exactly the same stuff. Bunnings have some good stuff for kids' rooms that you can buy in its raw form and then paint/decorate for use as wall plaques, mobiles, etc.
