we got the KURA with canopy. it is absolutely awesome
the kids use the underneath part as a cubby. in fact, they are both sitting under there right now playing with their firetrucks.
we also got two of the wall lights which make the bed extra cool

which one are you looking at Olive?

We got DS the malm bed, in single size. It's been great so far. It's low to the ground so he can easily get in and out.

we got the Minnen for DD1 (the wrought iron one in white). LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. we just went straight to the Big Bed setting (so didnt bother using the toddler size)...that way we just bought a normal single mattress and didnt get the convertible one ITMS. we got all our bedding at Ikea too lol. also bought the canopy thingy for DDs 'cave' obsession lol. DD1 loves it and it has enough height underneath to store stuff (we bought a spare mattress for sleepovers and it lives under there atm).

We were looking at this one for the girls room. Is it a "normal" single size? I was thinking about having DD1 on top (when she is old enough of course) and puting DD2 underneath (as a second bed or "bottom bed when she goes into a big bed. Does this work like this??

We bought the black Minnen one, DD loves it, very stable unlike some of the cheaper single beds on the market around that price.

We got one of the Ikea extending mattresses, not the cheapest but not the dearest either. She is very comfortable in it.

What size are these beds? Having a look and they look lovely...
DD is on a king single mattress and base, and want to keep the mattress, wondering if it will fit on one of these beds?

to be honest, i wouldn't have ds2 sleeping on the bottom one fulltime iykwim? we have it set up as a cubby with a mattress on the floor and heaps of toys in there- but the mattress is just lying on the floor- there is no base to support it. we are going to use it as an extra bed for sleepovers but ds2 has his own bed set up in the same room and they just use the underneath as a play space.

the king single mattress definitely wouldn't fit on the kura bed. we bought an ikea single mattress to go on it.
