Bathing Baby With A Bad Back - Solution

I've got a bad back/pelvis which makes bending difficult and bathing my baby pretty tricky - especially at the end of the day when I'm physically buggered from all the lifting/carrying.

So she has been going into the shower with dad until today when I looked at my plastic IKEA high chair and thought "Hang on, I could put her in that in the shower and we could shower together." So that's what we did - lucky we have a big shower.

But it means I don't have to wait until DP's home to wash her which is difficult to coordinate when he works shifts.

Very proud of myself as you can tell. Nice to be able to wash my baby myself for the first time in five months!

What a fantastic idea... I don't have a big shower so I would be able to do that - but I am sure some people will take your idea and run with it... Good for you!!!
