blankets or doona?

when we move DD into a big bed were thinking of using blankets instead of a doona as thats what she's used too. so was wondering what others use : doona or blankets
anyone have toddler in a bed without a pillow?

When Chelsea finally gets her butt (and stays) into her bed...she has a minky blanket and doona and pillow...but she has used a pillow since about 13 months old in the cot

Nina has a doona and pillow. She's been in a big bed since she was 15 months old. I chose a doona, as during summer it gets hot here, so I just take out the doona, and she just has the doona cover over her.
