Burst blood vessel in eyes during birth

Tristan bursted blood vessels in his eyes during birth which has left him with the red marks in the whites of his eyes, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so how long did it take to clear up?

The Paed that discharged him said it could take months

I have had this myself and yeah it will take a while for the blood to disipate. It looks really ugly but fortunately it doesnt affect the sight being on the whites of the eyes so I guess just try to be patient...maybe buy him some really cool baby sunnies for when you go out...LOL

LOL, luckily it's not too noticeable, he doesnt have his eyes open much atm

Yep, this happened to Harrison. It took about 3 weeks for it to clear up.

I did it to myself when I had whooping cough... I coughed so much and so hard that I burst blood vessels in my left eye. It cleared up in about 2 weeks.
