Will she ever take a bottle??

Ok i need help.

We have worked out that dh & i will run out of money in about 6 weeks so i will have to go back to working... the thing is DD wont take a bottle and she will barely be 7 months and not old enough to not have Bf's.

I have tried everything.
Different teats,
different bottles,
leaving her go longer,
dh feeding her,
cup feeding,
sipper cups ( a variety) and no luck...
Formula
Different temps

Even if i syringe or cup feed EBM into her mouth she spits it out.

SHe will take a tiny bit of h20 with her solids from her sippy cup but mostly enjoys chewing the rubbery spout!....

What am i going to do. it isnt practically for dh to bring her to work for me to BF as i work 50k away from home.

hi, persistence is the key here as eventually she will take it (I hope) try not to keep changing as she will get confused and will not get used to anything as just when she might start to you go and change it on her. If you choose a bottle (or whatever) stick with it. Offer it at every feed and water after every meal. Good luck!

Hey hun *hugs* must be so frustrating for you.

Have you tried bfing her and then taking your nipple out and sneaking the bottle in?

I know how you're feeling. We went through the same thing with DD. As tdv mentioned you'll just have to keep trying - she'll eventually get the hang of it and realise it's not that bad.

We found MAM ultivent bottles the best - the teats are really nipple like and they were the only ones that didn't give DD wind. I got them from Target.
