DS2 is 8 weeks 5 days old and still hasn't smiled. We are starting to worry about it a bit as we've been told by the MCHN and the GP that he needs to smile in the next week or two or there could be a problem, maybe with his vision but DH and I are imagining all sorts of problems being the cause! He does have silent reflux and so isn't a very happy baby so maybe he just doesn't have much reason to smile? He follows us across the room with his eyes and has started to coo back at us when we talk to him but no smiles DS1 smiled at 6 weeks.

Has anyone else had a baby smile late and everything be okay?
